About IB

The International Baccalaureate Organization (known as the IB) is a challenging educational programme for schools, aiming to develop curious, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. IB curriculum encourages students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand all people, with their differences.

Experiential Learning

Experiential learning is the process of learning through direct experience and relates solely to the meaning-making process of individual’s experience. The curriculum allows learning through reflection. It allows students to apply knowledge and assess real time learning.

Real World Context

By embedding subject matter in the ongoing experiences of the learners and by creating opportunities for learners to live subject matter in the context of real-world challenges, knowledge is acquired and learning transfers from the classroom to the realm of practice.

Continual Challenge

The curriculum encourages students to consider potential opportunities and challenges arising from shared ideas. IB Learner Profile aims to develop students who are risk-takers. This means guiding students to explore new ideas and innovative strategies, challenging their ways of thinking and encouraging them to be confident in those decisions.
