IB Primary Years Programme
PYP framework enables young learners to explore the world through the lens of inquiry thus kindling their natural sense of curiosity . Making connections with the real world by transcending the confines of silo approach in learning is at the core of PYP framework. The child’s sheer sense of exploration , voice and choice and capability to direct his own learning is well sustained by the design of the programme eventually fostering thinking minds and self assured individuals. The six Transdisciplinary themes in PYP also allow space for the child to relate to his own deep sense of identity, feelings of others and extend their learning to the global context thus adding the element of International Mindedness. The necessary dispositions and attributes for independent learning are well laid through the Primary Years Programme rendering learners the ability to meet the rigorous needs of the Middle Years Programme.
In our Reggio inspired learning spaces learners get ample space to explore nature , collaborate and inquire meaningfully to develop a better context to their learnings. With the most apt student teacher ratio of 1:20, students get individual attention and a differentiated approach to match their learning pace.
